"Poem" 26

I like to drink soda
And eat candy but
My tongue gets dry
And feels all painful
And my mouth feels
Sticky and I feel like
My teeth are rotting
And they are sad and I
Feel the need to go
Brush my teeth.
Sugar is stupid and
Needs to learn how to
Play nice.
So
I brush my teeth and
My teeth say
"Thank you"
And I say
"You're welcome!"
But then my stomach is
Crying and I ask
"What's wrong, Mr. Tummy?"
And she replies with a sad
"I feel empty inside"
I am feeling hungry.
But I just brushed my teeth.
But it is nice to hear
"Thank you"
Before you feel hungry.
